It's the summer of social distancing! Although some states may be opening
up a bit - it's a pretty safe assumption to say not many of us are taking that annual summer vacation this year. Deals may be the lowest in years, but most of the general public isn't quite comfortable yet to venture out.

Production is still at a low in the Dominican Republic of major cigar brands, leaving a lot of people scrambling to find their favorites on store shelves. Cigar manufacturers are doing the best they can to fill chain retail stores and wholesalers with popular sellers where they can, but if it's not being produced - there's only so much on the market available. We're starting to see some manufacturers pushing to get product out - but delivery schedules are still far and few between compared to a year ago.

Swedish Match's lineup of summer flavors is usually pretty extensive but, due to the lack in production, we're covering only some of the flavors that are still fairly accessible on the market currently. White Owl brings a couple new flavors with Berries & Cream and Blackberry Mojito to the mix - both great tasting cigars for the summer. Their 4th of July limited-edition, Firework, brought three additional summer flavors with Cherry Blast, Sparkling Wine and Rocket Raspberry. All these added to their existing flavors of Blue Raspberry and Tropical Twist, you're sure to find one to take you to an island getaway!
Swedish's Jackpot has a couple great flavors available such as Watermelon and Tropical Blast that will also give you some summer vibes wherever you are.
Game has one of the longest lists of summertime flavors - but production 
issues will make them hard to find just about everywhere. Flavors like Berry Blast, Black Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Honey, Mango, Pineapple, Tropical, Watermelon and White Peach - and just added for the summer - Strawberry Colada.

Dutch may not be know for "summer flavors", but there's no question that their Honey Fusion cigarillo's are hands-down one of the best honey cigars you'll find anywhere.
Swisher Sweets
Swisher has always had a long line of great flavors year round. But due to COVID restrictions, production schedules have somewhat changed - primarily producing their most popular sellers (Sweet and Diamond) in addition to some of the better selling flavors on their roster. Even some of the following are running out in stores - so better grab some while you can!
Six Swisher flavors you should likely still find on shelves to celebrate the summer are Peach (one of the best peach cigars on the market, by far), Tropical Fusion, Mango, Strawberry, Island Bash and their new addition, banana-and-rum-flavored Banana Daquiri.
Of course, if you favor their smooth black-tipped BLK line, you'll find that Cherry and Berry will both do the trick.
Optimo's Mango has seen a resurgence lately - in addition to Pom Pom's Islander, which is infused with the taste of tropical punch.
Backwoods
If a country getaway is more your speed, Backwoods is a perfect choice. Frayed ends and a rustic look, Backwoods is known here in the US. for flavors like Honey, Honey Berry, and Honey Bourbon.
Good Times
One of the newcomers to the market, Good Times, USA brings a huge line of flavors to the market with a little something for everyone. With their 3 and 4 for $1.00 choices, you'll find Good Times are one of the more economical choices on the market. Most of their products are on backorder - but if you look hard enough, you're likely to find some of the following still available in your local stores or online.
4 Kings brings a long line of flavors with Blueberry Pineapple, Strawberry Lemonade and Pink Lemonade to name a few.
City Life's Mango Melon (rated one of the best Mango cigars by our panel) and Berry Banana are two popular flavors on convenience shelves.
And Good Times' Watermelon and Pineapple are long-time favorites during the summer months, as well.
